Stella Marie

Stella fought the odds to end up with a one way ticket out of Louisiana and into the arms of a loving family! She sat in the shelter for slightly more than two years before being spotted by her forever Mommy. She came in as a 6 week old puppy after being found dumped on an old country road with no residents for miles. She was left for dead, but, thanks to a committed group of animal lovers, she is living the life of a pure-breed. This is our aim with every discarded creature we encounter. Unfortunately, her outcome is far from “the rule”. We are working tirelessly toward an animal friendly Evangeline Parish, but we have a long way to go…and we need all of the help we can get. Consider being a part of a team who focuses on changing the minds of my south LA neighbors and changing the lives of the animals they mistreat. We are all about saving lives; 4 paws at a time.
